Renovated train station in Breda to officially open
State secretary Sharon Dijksma (Infrastructure and Environment) has the refurbished train station of Breda Thursday afternoon officially opened.
The station was since June 2012 converted. The renovation took 144,5 million euros.
The number of passengers that daily use of the station is expected to ProRail grow to provide 57,000 in 2020. With the renovation, think of the organization these numbers to be captured.
The station also has a new bus platform that offers space to twenty buses. Around the station are the sheds made for six thousand bicycles and more than seven hundred cars on the roof of the station parking.
From Thursday through Sunday activities are organised to celebrate the opening.

Roger van Boxtel (CEO of NS), Pier Eringa (president-director of ProRail), secretary of state, Sharon Dijksma, deputy Christophe van der Maat, province of Noord-Brabant and mayor Paul Depla of the municipality of Breda, will open Thursday at the converted railway station of Breda.
The station was since June 2012 converted.
