Reinout Scholten van Aschat makes movie with brother
Actor Reinout Scholten van Aschat is going to make a movie with his brother Jeroen. Jeroen graduated from the Film school as a screenwriter. Nocturne, a project in which Reinout the lead will play, is his feature debut.
Reinout Scholten van Aschat played at the National Theatre and was seen in films such as The Heineken Kidnapping, and Never sleep. For the first won the actor a Golden Calf, for the second he received earlier this month a nomination.
Nocturne tells the story of a young director who is abandoned by his girlfriend and in a crisis ends up. In addition to Scholten van Aschat plays actor Vincent van der Valk as a lead role. He got last year a Golden Calf nomination was for his role in Gluckauf.
The project should be funded through the platform Cinecrowd. The makers have the crowdfundingcampagne to do this at the Dutch Film Festival launched. Nocturne should be in 2017 premiere.
