Retirement-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) sharply criticized the Democratic National Committee, Nevada Public Radio interview on Wednesday, calling the organization “worthless.”
To help a caller congratulated Reid, select outgoing Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D., Nev.) and then the Democratic party asked what he thought of the prospects in the year 2018 for the Senate.
Reid replied that he and others proved, in the state of Nevada, that the cook could not buy brothers of the state, even though they said they would “embarrass the Reid machine.” Reid described how he had built a strong state party and knew they were not going to beat Cortez Masto.
The outgoing members discussed the future of the Democratic party by the DNC and the lack of organization during the 2016 election cycle.
“The Democratic National Committee, was said to be worthless,” Reid. “You do nothing to help the Contracting States. That should be the most important goal you have. I have everything developed in Nevada on my own. Your help was relatively meaningless.”
Reid then said, what should be looking for the DNC in the organization of the next Chairman.
