Reese Witherspoon is reportedly ‘in conversation’ to do ‘Legally Blonde 3.’

According to Variety, Reese Witherspoon, who stars as the lead attorney, is “in conversation” with MGM to reprise her role for a third party “Legally Blonde” movie.
Last March, the 42-year-old actress seemed open to the idea of returning to the big screen, Woods, pitching potential story ideas to talk show host, James Corden.
“I think it would be pretty cool to see her 15 years later. Like, what is she doing now? What do you think? I don’t know. But I have a good idea,” said Witherspoon in the time while you are on “The Late Late Show.”
After Corden proposed Forest would be the first female president of the United States, Witherspoon agreed, even adding a few ideas of her own.
“They could, yes. She could be a Judge of the Supreme court, or she could be a really big, powerful lawyer… or she could be in prison!” shared Witherspoon, adding that Woods “can be anything.”
“I don’t know!” admitted the star, who first appeared in the original romantic comedy in 2001 as one of the main character, Elle Woods, a sorority girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to law school, and ends up pursuing a career in the law itself.
Two years later, Witherspoon starred in ” Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde,” where Woods goes to Washington D. C. to advocate for the rights of animals. The franchise’s popularity grew, the questions of a Broadway adaptation that ran from 2007 – 2008.
