The area around Cox’s Bazar, south of Chittagong, is the most affected. In that region live even seventy thousand refugees from Myanmar under difficult circumstances. They are completely dependent on humanitarian aid.

The Red Cross has over the last few days in Bangladesh, a million people to evacuate and to prepare for Mora. Before that, they were of 55,000 volunteers in rope. Their efforts are also desperately needed as the storm plague has run its course. There is major damage to houses and harvest is expected.
