A record number of 55,000 immigrants this year voluntarily from Germany. It is for the first time in sixteen years that there are so many people who voluntarily return to their country of origin.
That has the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung calculated. A majority of the returnees are coming from the west of the Balkans. People in Germany have no chance at a residence permit.
Germany gives migrants who return voluntarily with a financial compensation. For the coming year, the government wants to a new scheme set to be even more people volunteered to leave. Who had decided to return would be a higher amount than people who are longer in Germany remain.
This year in Germany to an estimated 25,000 people turned off.
Voluntary returnees are not punished with a re-entry ban, as is the case in an eviction. If, after a voluntary departure, however, return to Germany to stay there, should have his or her fee refund.
Until november, there are about 15,000 people from Albania go back. Also, there are five thousand Serbs, Iraqis and Kosovars are pulled back to their home country. The number of voluntary returnees to Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq has greatly increased.
