Recipe: Asian zalmpakketjes with only five ingredients

Cooking doesn’t have to be that complicated. With five ingredients and place in an instant, something on the table. In you can read each and every week, how do you have such an easy recipe to prepare. This week, the Asian zalmpakketjes, orange, and cabbage.

In this recipe, the salmon, and a cabbage ‘en papillote’ is cooked. This is a cooking method in which the dish had a piece of paper, folding it and then bake it in the oven. So, stuff it until all the flavors come together nicely.

In this dish we’ll use the whole leaves of the cabbage. They are, as it were, a bed for the salmon. The orange and the soy sauce will give a fine flavour to the fish and the vegetables. Crispy deep-fried gemberreepjes to make the dish occasionally. The Asian zalmpakketjes tastes great with rice or noodles.

Five-ingredient Asian zalmpakketjes

  • 1, Chinese cabbage
  • 600 grams salmon fillet*
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 inches of fresh ginger
  • 2 organic handsinaasappels
  • *Vegetarian option: leave the salmon and add the extra cut up pieces of fruit to add to the package. For example, bell peppers, and portobello road.

    This is how you make the dish is ready

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Cut the salmon fillet into 4 equal pieces. Mix the soy sauce with an equal amount of water. Cut the oranges in half slices.
  • Lay 4 sheets of parchment paper on the counter. Pull the leaves off of the cabbage, wash them well and shake them dry. Place it in the center of each piece of parchment paper and a Chinese cabbage leaf and spread with the remaining Chinese cabbage leaves over it.
  • Put it on each pile of cabbage leaves in a piece of art. Divide this with the slices of orange. Pour the sojasausmengsel the pieces of salmon and fold over the zalmpakketjes close. You have to put in the parchment paper along the long edge to the other fold, and then a second time to save it. Fold over the edges tightly and roll them out a little bit.
  • Instead, the zalmpakketjes on a baking sheet, and bake them in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes, until tender.
  • Hull, meanwhile, for the ginger and cut into very thin strips. Heat a thick layer of oil in a wok and deep-fry the gemberreepjes until they are light brown and begin to see it. Leave them to drain on some kitchen paper, and serve them with the zalmpakketjes.
