The Hollywood Reporter gives no stars

“Zellweger is the weakest link of the film. Not because her face does not move – it does – but because they have a dead look in her eyes seems to have. The character floats through the film, is hardly interested in the men who compete for her love, shows little interest in her baby: she is doused with a-may-me-not-care-weariness that the entire film remains in force. Her co-stars do their best to filling this vacuum, but it is not.”

“This ‘Bridget’ is better than the previous movie, because the no frills need to remove such as a trip to Thailand. Bridget still lives in her old, viezige apartment and still works for television, where she now has moved up to producer. Unfortunately Hugh Grant’s character Daniel Cleaver, there is not more, but Colin Firth as a nervous Darcy is still dry as ever. Also Bridget is the idiot remained that we know of.”
