Rapper Young Thug arrested on his Dave & Buster’s birthday

Police say the rapper was arrested in Los Angeles after the officers a concealed firearm in his car. Officer Drake Madison says Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, the rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was booked on a weapons possession charge. He was being held on $ 35,000 bail.


Young Thug’s big night didn’t go as planned.

The Atlanta rapper was arrested outside a Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood on Thursday evening after his joint 27th birthday and listening party.

Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was booked on a possession of firearms free of charge and is being held on $ 35,000 bail, Officer Drake Madison said.

According to The Explosion, the rapper and his entourage were leaving the party when one of the cars he was travelling hit a police car. During a subsequent search, police allegedly found several weapons, including an AK-47.

In addition to Rogue, a number of other people were reportedly arrested. The rapper has since been released.

A rep for Rogue declined to comment.
