G-Eazy was allegedly denied entry into Canada on Monday, forcing him to cancel a performance.
The 29-year-old rapper and his entourage are the alleged problems with the customs agents upon arrival in Calgary, Alberta, insiders told TMZ. The Cowboys of the Music Festival confirmed Monday that he would not perform that night.
“Cowboys regret to inform you that G-Eazy is not able to perform tonight due to reasons beyond our control,” the festival said in a statement, via Twitter
“Trust us — we know, this is really a bummer, but we are still throwing a huge, legendary hip-hop party tonight,” the statement concluded.
G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, is from a rough couple of weeks, after being busted for possession of cocaine and assault in Sweden back in May. He and girlfriend Halsey also split this month, after a year of dating.
After breaking down on stage during a recent concert, Halsey, 23, took to Twitter on Monday, shutting down rumors that she had already moved out with Machine Gun Kelly. The answer of an already deleted photos of her and the rapper, Halsey placed (according to the Daily Mail), “I am not at the beach. I’m on tour. Alone. Slow news week I guess.”
“I’m not with anyone. That photo is 2 years old. Everyone mind they damn business,” she tweeted.
Halsey is focused on social media last week, confirmed that she and G-Eazy “taking some time apart.”
A rep for G-Eazy not immediately return our request for comment.
