Racing driver Sophia Flörsch comes at the beginning of march for the first time in action since her heavy crash at the end of last year in Macau. They test at Monza, on behalf of her team Van Amersfoort Racing car for the Formula European Masters.
The eighteen-year-old Flörsch flew in november 2018 at a Formula 3 race in Macau on the high speed of the job, then her car over a fence shot. She walked a fracture in her spine.
The German remained after her crash a week in the hospital, but spoke to soon, the desire from her career to continue. At the beginning of this month, she was by her doctor fully healed.
“It will be a special moment to be back behind the wheel,” says Flörsch. “I thank my team and all my sponsors. They have my return made possible. It is a nice feeling to know that people believe in me.”
In the first weekend of may on the Hockenheimring in Germany the first race on the program. The Formula European Masters is the successor of the European Formula 3.
