Rabbi National Menorah lighting used to trash Obama’s UN move

The rabbi will be used in the care of the National Hanukkah Menorah lighting, the funeral on Sunday, just a few steps from the White house, to criticize the Obama to allow government decision to hand over to the United Nations for a resolution condemning the Israeli settlements in the West Bank and parts of Jerusalem, as illegal.

Rabbi Levi Shemtov, executive vice president of American friends of Lubavitch, and came upon an Obama administration official speech “fight the darkness with light” on the head, called the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — who has had an antagonistic relationship with President Obama — and urging the Jews not to despair over the “darkness”, the occupation by the United Nations to vote.

Shemtov spoke after remarks by Adam Szubin, acting Treasury Undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, and the Obama administration, representative Sunday in the event.

Szubin gave a short speech on the importance and the symbolism of candles and light, as they helped to Hanukkah, and later, to light a 30-foot menorah.
