Qualcomm demands Us import ban on iPhones
Chipmaker Qualcomm has an American please note that over asked for an import ban on several versions of the iPhone.
That request is the latest step of Qualcomm in a patentstrijd with Apple, which still further enlarged.
The two companies have argued about the licensing terms of Qualcomm, the owner of several key patents in 4G technology and other elements, which in almost all modern smartphones are present.
Qualcomm wants that Apple and other smartphonemakers a percentage of the sale price to pay as license fees for those patents. Apple thinks that is too expensive and wants a more limited amount to give.
