An American publisher of children’s books, Chooseco, has Netflix have been sued. The phrase Choose your own adventures, that was used for the recently released Black Mirror-film Bandersnatch, it would be a trademark of the publishing house.

“Chooseco and Netflix are already years in negotiation about the use of the phrase, but Netflix has never had a licence”, as is read in the indictment. “One time, Chooseco Netflix in a written statement, asked to use the Choose your own adventures-trademark not to use it for their marketing campaign.”
Chooseco requires at least 25 million dollars (over 21 million euro) compensation of Netflix.
