At the training complex De Herdgang on the PSV is a new sports medicine centre where not only the private players can get help with injuries, but all athletes from the region Eindhoven.
The frontrunner in the Premier league reports Saturday that there is a so-called Sports Performance Center is built, together with the St. Anna Zorggroep. There is signed a letter of intent in which it was agreed that both parties in the coming months their plans to further develop it. The plan is in the course of 2019 to start the construction.
Director Toon Gerbrands of the pitch calls it a “unique concept”, focused on injury prevention, performance improvement, and medical innovation. “Top athletes, leisure athletes, but also the business will this initiative benefit,” says the director in a notice on the website of the club.
“We are always looking for those few procentjes profit and innovation is a core value of PSV. In addition, we are very aware of our role within the region.”

The director explains the plans: “We provide happy to make a contribution to the increase of the vitality in our hinterland. Within this centre we go together with St. Anna Zorggroep bet on sports innovation and cutting-edge research.”
“The knowledge that we acquire will be the top-level sport further, and then also the ‘regular’ sports fans, but also the business community in the region. They will massively benefit from what we have on The Herdgang will develop.”
PSV and St. Anna Zorggroep also want the business community and regional institutions from the health care and education, involve them in the plans.
