PSV escape against Heracles again accident, in sene

PSV is Saturday for the second time in a row escapes loss of points in the battle for the title in the Eredivisie. The team of coach Phillip Cocu won with 1-2 on a visit to Heracles Almelo.

The Locals were on edge thanks to Bart Ramselaar. In the final stage, signed Samuel Armenteros, rest a penalty kick missed, for the equalizer. Davy Pröpper helped PSV in the 87th minute for the victory.

Last week, the reigning champion also already a precarious victory, when in your own home against sc Heerenveen, a 2-3 deficit at the last moment was reversed in a 4-3 victory.

Despite the victory at Heracles PSV with 43 points from twenty matches still the number three behind Feyenoord and Ajax. Heracles collected so far, 21 points, and twelfth.

PSV remained by the result in Almelo for the 23rd time in a row, undefeated in a uitduel, their own clubrecord was matched. The last uitnederlaag in the Premier league dates back to 19 september 2015, when calculated Heracles Almelo with 2-1 was too strong.

In the season 2004/2005 established PSV’s record of 23 consecutive uitduels without loss. Next week, that record on a visit to AZ to be broken.

Penalty kick

After a chance for PSV through Gaston Pereiro (salvation goalkeeper Bram Castro) got Heracles in the eleventh minute, the biggest chance of the first half. Arbitrator Kevin Blom gave a penalty kick after an infringement by Daniel Schwaab on Armenteros.

The striker went however the ball, but saw his efforts be turned away by Jeroen Zoet. The goalkeeper of PSV, stopped thus for the first time since december 2013, a penalty kick. At the time, he loved Tom Beugelsdijk of ADO Den Haag of scoring.

In the sequel were the most opportunities for PSV. Andres Guardado saw the ball from his free kick just over and captain Luuk de Jong got a ball in his foot, just not at the ball. Just before half-time was Pröpper goalkeeper Castro on his way.

Ramselaar

After peace was quickly touch for PSV. Midfielder Ramselaar was the terminus of an attack through Luuk de Jong, Guardado and Jetro Willems and made, thus his fourth hit in the shirt of the Locals.

The formation of trainer Cocu kept the control, and thought five minutes later, at 0-2, but the goal of Pröpper was canceled due to offside. The same is true, not long after, a goal from Luuk de Jong.

Heracles wanted to be on the hunt for the equalizer, but the team of coach John Stegeman did so initially not. PSV was through Marco van Ginkel and captain De Jong even close to an extension of the lead.

Fifteen minutes was the winner of the invoice for missing the opportunities. From a cross from Brandley Kuwas accomplished Armenteros nice touch. Enough for a point that was not because Pröpper made just for time yet for relief for PSV.

The midfielder, who is coveted by Zenit St. Petersburg, scored with a changed direction shot. In the slotseconden got Siem de Jong still have a great chance at 1-3, but goalkeeper Castro saved Heracles for a third still in strong position.
