The First lady, Melania Trump, visited a Boston hospital Wednesday to meet with advisors and administrators for a groundbreaking program to help with snuggling, children are born dependent on drugs or alcohol.
Outside of the Boston Medical Center in the South of the city at the end of, more than 200 workers protested against the visit, says the first lady represented by an administration, which they say has led to the immigrants from seeking health care with the harsh immigration policy. Some of the signs bore the inscription “BMC takes care of all the patients,” and “We believe that healthy women = healthy family = healthy society.”
“Families need to be together, that the best way to support the development of the children is for them to be with their families,” Carmen Rosa Norona, a psychotherapist, said working with young children, victims of trauma, The Associated Press. “The children the opportunity to grow, with their families, is a human right, in: the policy of separation of families is a violation of these rights.”
“This is not the person that we want our home, our hospital,” added Cecilia Girard, a 26-year-old employee who works as a nurse and midwife.

Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., a statement released Wednesday said that Trump’s visit “is a chance to remember and to educate, the Secretary and the First Lady of the ways in which our medical centers, to inequalities, to eliminate it and to ensure that all people, regardless of income level and residence status, have a basic human right to health care.”
