An American programmer that lotteries manipulated, has a prison sentence of 25 years.

That has the judge, reports the Associated Press.

According to the prosecutor, the sentence of 25 years in practice much lower, because the man is not convicted. He would, because of good behaviour all over three to five years may be released.

The programmer was responsible for the software used on the computers of lotteries in 33 states. He had the software customized so that certain numbers have a much higher chance of profit on specific days.


The man told his brother and a few friends about the manipulated loterijsoftware, so that they are on the appropriate days could play to win. In this way did the programmer 2.2 million dollars to earn.
