Profile Doris Day: Iconic actress led after career retired life

The American actress and singer Doris Day, known from the song Que Sera, Sera, is on Monday at age 97 died. Day led since her departure from the white cloth a retired life.

Doris Day, who is actually Doris Mary Kappelhoff was called, was in 1922, in Cincinnati born as the daughter of a music teacher and a housewife. Her grandparents were German immigrants.

Day lose a man and gets deep in debt

A period of hardship followed. Day lost at the end of the sixties her third husband, Martin Melcher. They came then to find out that he and his business partner, her money squandered and that they are this deep in debt was. “I get so many nice letters from fans, sometimes only eight years old,” said Day in a rare interview with The Hollywood Reporter in march of this year. “Some people know my movies, thanks to their great-grandmothers. Different movies will be kept in different viewers hanging for different reasons, but I think that my films always have a positive message uitdroegen.”
