Pro-Trump candidate Geoff Diehl triumphed in the primary Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren in November

The Republicans in deep blue Massachusetts, selected per-Trump state REP Geoff Diehl to take on incumbent Democratic sen. Elizabeth Warren in November, setting the stage for a contentious referendum on the first-term senator’s national profile, as she is considering a run for the presidency in the year 2020.

Diehl triumphs over a lawyer, John Kingston, and Beth Lindstrom, a consultant of former Gov. Mitt Romney, with previous results that show him with a convincing double-digit lead over his rivals.

Of the three candidates, Diehl the closest ties to the President, Donald Trump had. Diehl co-chair of trump in 2016, the Massachusetts campaign. He was quick to note that despite its liberal reputation, Massachusetts, gave a Trump of one of his oblique early primary wins.

Warren, who has served in the Senate since 2013, unhindered in Tuesday’s primaries. She has published ten years worth of tax returns recently, the groundwork for a possible presidential run in 2020.

Warren has not yet declared their intention to run, and said, you want to dial on your back in the first. But she made it very clear of the possibility of the pursuit of the White house is not floated, namely, in August, she is afraid, “the underdog”.

But, despite Massachusetts ‘ long-standing reputation as a deeply liberal state, Baker commands sky-high approval ratings there, and is one of the nation’s most popular governors. He largely ignored, Lively, a staunch supporter of President Trump.

Baker credited part of his willingness to cooperate with Democratic leaders in the Statehouse. He is a progressive Republican, and supports universal health care and increased state investments in transportation and education.

The Republicans currently hold the General government of the four of the six States to grow up in a very liberal New England, including Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and are in search of, the number in November.

Also on Tuesday, in great excitement, Boston city Councilor Ayanna Pressley, a 10-term incumbent Rep. Michael Capuano defeated. Pressley is expected that you will be the first black woman chosen in Massachusetts in Congress, to run because they set unopposed in November, had the support of the Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

And REP Richard Neal defeated in primaries, challengers Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, a lawyer, had hoped, to the story itself, by becoming the first Muslim in the Congress elected from Massachusetts. They supported a proposal that Medicare available to all Americans, regardless of age.

Neal is running unopposed in November.
