Premiere of A Dog’s Purpose cancelled to fuss about force dog
The premiere Saturday in Los Angeles of the movie A Dog’s Purpose does not go through. This was after the Wednesday, video footage emerged showing how a visibly frightened dog is forced to movies.
In the video shows how a dog trainer a German shepherd with coercion in and under the water pushes. The dog tries to escape, but the trainer stopped.
The video was put online by entertainmentsite TMZ. On the video, the German shepherd Hercules to see who is forced to be a stunt to perform. Producer Universal decided to cancel the movie premiere in order to prevent the incident, the overtone would enter. “We don’t want this film about the beautiful relationship between man and animal is overshadowed by the incident,” said the producer in a statement.
The American animal rights organisation PETA has after the publication of the video called for the movie to boycott, despite the apologies of the Swedish director Lasse Hallström. Who also promised that a thorough investigation is launched into the incident. A Dog’s Purpose runs from 27 January in the American cinemas.
