Prague re-apply for a place in the UEFA board
Michael van Praag has again be a candidate for a place in the governance of the European football association UEFA.
The back of the KNVB belongs to the thirteen candidates at the beginning of april at the UEFA congress in Helsinki compete for eight places.
The UEFA made the names of the candidates, who for four years could be chosen, Thursday known.
Prague is since 2009 in the board of the European federation and was four years later for the first time re-elected. He belongs to the five vice-presidents of the UEFA.
The 69-year-old Amsterdammer tried in recent years to become the chairman of the wereldvoetbalbond FIFA and UEFA, but two times without success.
Of Prague retreated in 2015 back from the battle for the presidency in FIFA, where Gianni Infantino eventually to be the successor of Sepp Blatter was appointed.
Last year he had in the UEFA election to take against Aleksander Ceferin from Slovenia.
