A 2-year-old boy denies to his father that he was using the toilet, during the potty-training the hearts and minds of the internet.

In a video shared on Facebook by a mother, Dani DeVito, looking for a bit of Matt’s hilarious to tell his father, “I didn’t poop, I peed.”

Matt, who is sitting on the toilet, and repeatedly, denied that he was in a position to deal with it. His father, John, however, wasn’t so sure.

“Wait you don’t poop?… I thought you were pooped, too,” said the father.

“No, no, I’m peeing!” and the son was full of it.

Matt’s father, not being able to hold it together in front of his son and begins to cry tears of laughter. Despite Matt’s insistence on keeping his stupid list, he was able to break the character out of concern for his father.

“Are you sad, daddy?” Matt asked, reaching for a hug to comfort him.

“I’m trying so hard not to laugh, I want to cry,” his father said. “You’re funny, you’re a really funny guy.”

Apparently, the rest of the internet has been agreed to, if the original video has garnered over 17 million views.

In an interview with the WVNews, Matt’s mother said that she was just as taken in by their son’s side-splitting antics.

“We don’t know where the voice was coming from. We don’t have a clue. He’s a funny kid,” his mother said. “He says it all the time now, because it is random as seen in the video, but it’s not a normal occurrence by any stretch of the imagination.”
