Potter fans gather at King’s Cross
Dozens of fans of the movies and books about Harry Potter gathered Friday morning on King’s Cross train station in London. They were silent on the fact that, the epilogue from the original story on this day.
“Today is the day that Albus Severus Potter for the first time on the Hogwarts Express stepped onto King’s Cross”, tweeted founder J. K. Rowling under the hashtag #19yearslater.
The fans counted at the station for the train at 11.00 am supposedly departed from platform 9 3/4. They were joined by actor Warwick Davis who in the movies the role of professor Ban and the goblin grappling hook played.
In the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows, the seventh and final book, put Harry son Albus for the first time on the station. That is also the time where the story around the play Harry Potter and The Cursed Child starts. The piece went last year, premiered on London’s West End and is from this month on Broadway in New York.
