Avenatti law firm ordered to pay judge $ 10 million

Federal bankruptcy court judge in Southern California ordered a law firm managed by Michael Avenatti to pay 10 million dollars to a former colleague who claims the company misstated its profits.

The alleged behavior, another setback for the ubiquitous lawyer who beat his fight against Trump is a victory for the women who have been silenced by powerful people like the President.

Avenatti has been on a media crusade for months, Trump, and, more recently, the President’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen followed. Avenatti news-nearly 150 appeared on broadcast and cable-to-time in the last 10 weeks, with 74 of the appearances on CNN, according to a Media Research Center report from last week.

But despite the controversy over his tax problems and a court ruling on Tuesday managed the appointment of a law firm Avenatti, to pay up to $10 million, to address a lawyer for failing to honor a settlement, he has in the defense lately.

In one case, in the Dec. 17, 2017, court documents claim, Avenatti appeared outside their former marital residence and “evil”, and demanded entry. He allegedly began yelling at his wife and threatened to stay home “every night for the next week” against their consent.

Then, he allegedly began filming Storie-Avenatti, with his cell phone and said that he was acting in his 15-year-old daughter from his previous marriage, as a “witness.” The woman tried to escape Avenatti “incessant tirade” and verbal outbursts, claiming that he was frightening the two children, according to court documents.

Avenatti then allegedly called the police to ask for help, to enter the premises. After the arrival of police officers, his application was rejected. They told Storie to expect Avenatti “a nasty divorce.”

Avenatti had a different memory of the incident. He denied to Fox News that it was abuse and said that he’ll never want to stay in the house threatened against his wife, although he added that, “if I did it, it was my right under California law.”

He said the police were actually supportive of him, but ” said she could not give me the access, but if I wanted to force myself access as I could, because I had every right to the homeland.”

“The statements which they are arranged depend on the products in conjunction with Lisa ‘ s failed attempt, a marriage and a child support order of $215,000 a month by the court. This never happened, and the court never gave any credibility to your accusations,” Avenatti said.

In another case, in the Dec. 19, Storie-In-depth conversation with her husband about Christmas visitation schedule for your child, in which he allegedly threatened her again, saying he would “burn” all of your assets in the divorce. “[In] appalling lack of judgment in the education of his teenage daughter, in order to act as a witness, and frightening, in the process, demonstrated that he is not centered, a selfish and not a child, not to mention the emotional turmoil that he [caused] to Lisa,” a lawyer for the Storie-Avenatti wrote.

His “follow-up with threats on December 19, he would intentionally added to the parties’ son of his mother and primary caregiver, and cause of [her son] to deprive of, to illustrate, in protective custody, that [In] is angry and vindictive, and has no consideration for any emotional harm to his son, his daughter, or to Lisa,” it.

However, in spite of the alleged conduct, Storie to be Avenatti claims, issues, legally, the separation from him.

“I must be divorced, and if [In] continues to paint the narrative that he can ignore our case!”, she told Fox News last week.

“Publish this story as part of their attempt to discredit and distract me away from the serious legal issues around Mr. Trump. Avenatti recently published information about the large companies, the payments Cohen received in exchange for the “insights” in the young Trump administration, as well as payments from Russia. The details led to widespread control of these offers, and brought the lawyer into the national public spotlight.

Storie-Avenatti, meanwhile, was adamant in your E-Mail to Fox News that the abuse occurred: “To be clear, there was never any abuse, alleged or otherwise, in our relationship. I never fear for my safety or my son. Period of time. Michael has in the past been a loving and caring husband and a loving and caring father. I have never called the police because I was never threatened. I’ve never tried to have him excluded from our home, because I felt threatened or afraid for my safety or my son.

“Further, he paid for everything, child support and spousal support. He is a good man. It seems that you are trying to harm him and our family by the publication of a defamatory story that has no basis in reality.”
