Popular Chinese game limited playing time of young users
Underage players of the Chinese smartphonegame Honor or Kings can provide only a limited period of time each day to play.
Publisher Tencent took this measure after parents and teachers complained about the popular smartphonegame, according to Reuters. Honor of Kings now has 80 million daily active players, who especially in China.
Players under the age of twelve years may, every day, up to one hour to play. Young people between twelve and eighteen years old are limited to two hours of gaming per day.
Gamers of twelve years or under may now log in anymore after nine o’clock in the evening local time. In addition, it is limited how much money this group in the game allowed to invest.
The share of publisher Tencent plummeted by 3.6 percent, after the staatskrant People’s Daily the game ‘poison’ called.
