Secretary of state Mike Pompeo missed Friday’s deadline with a subpoena issued by three Democrats-led house Committee last week to hand over documents in connection with the Department’s handling of Ukraine and the President of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, Fox News has confirmed.

The summons came when the Congress leading a probe into a whistleblower lawsuit, the national intelligence community about Trump’s July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky — the incident has touched off the Trump charge request.

The President is under fire for pushing Zelensky, during the call, in order to investigate, democratic 2020 presidential frontrunner Joe Biden, whose son Hunter Biden and the Ukrainian company Burisma, where Hunter Biden held a board position.

Last week, the chairmen of the three House panels — Reps. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the Intelligence Committee; Eliot Engel, D-NY, the Committee for Foreign Affairs; and Elijah Cummings, D-Md., in the case of the oversight and Reform Committee — a list of the State Department, perhaps in the Ukraine-interview required. The Chairman, in addition to any state Department records about Giuliani, and all the records in connection with U.S. military aid for Ukraine requested. (Giuliani traveled in Ukraine on business in the name of the President, he said on Fox News ‘” Sean Hannity on Wednesday.)

Fox News was confirmed the Ministry of foreign Affairs is in contact with the three house panels in relation to the period of violation. Trump told reporters that he would send the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a letter on Friday, said the White house would not agree to the prosecution request until it is made official through a vote before the entire chamber. It was unclear whether the State Department complied with the subpoena at Trump’s request.

Pompeo confirmed Wednesday while in Rome, he was on the 25. July call, describes his commitment as appropriate and within the scope of his role as Secretary of state. As a stand-off between the Executive and the Congress escalated, he also, he said a request from the Democratic Chairman, would fight for the depositions of five State Department. The legislature of the Foreign, intelligence and Supervisory bodies moved forward, with a testimony of their first key witness Thursday — the former US envoy to the Ukraine with Kurt Volker, who resigned last week after receiving word that had appeared in his name in the whistleblower complaint. Text messages published by Volker to the Congress to show U.S. officials involved with the Ukraine fighting within the last month on the question of whether Trump was engaged in a quid pro quo. Fox News on Friday also received Volker’s prepared testimony, in which he details his interactions with Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, who was probing whether Burisma tried that garner influence with Biden by paying high fees to his son.

A memorandum of the 25. July-phone call between Trump and Zelensky released last month showed that while Trump is a Ukrainian probe into the Biden family, he did not explicitly include the $400 million in military aid as a means of pressure sought. Trump tweeted on Thursday that he will have to examine an “absolute right, perhaps even the duty, to or investigated for corruption, and that would also be to ask, or suggest, that other countries help us.”


Joe Biden has confirmed in front of the camera, in the spring of 2016, when he, as vice president and as the spearhead of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy that he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire top Prosecutor Viktor Shokin. At the time, Shokin, the investigation of Burisma Holdings — where the Hunter had a lucrative role on the Board, despite the limited know-how. Biden allies to maintain his intervention was driven by corruption concerns.

Michael Atkinson, the inspector General of the intelligence community, gave testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, on Friday, as he was the first person that the whistleblower complaint. The complaint was eventually released by the trump-administration and redacted versions will be sent to the Congress. House Democrats are scheduled to hear testimony from several other officers involved in the next week.
