Miss Baden-Würrtemberg, Nadine Berneis of Stuttgart, was the name “Miss Germany 2019” in the Europa-Park parade.
A beauty in blue is crowned Miss Germany in 2019, and since then has announced that she hopes to take a year off from the police to meet her new pageant queen tasks.
Nadine Berneis, originally from Dresden, Saxony, won the national competition on Feb. 23, and has since described her victory as ‘ a dream come true,” German news site Deutsche Welle reports.
The ultra-fit, 28-year-old credits much of her current success to her disciplined background, with the house for the training of the police at the age of 18 and never look back.

“In the beginning I had problems with the [local] dialect … the teachers no extra effort. Despite all that I coped really well and by the training and the profession in general, I was really a self-confident woman,” Berneis said, as per Deutsche Welle.
“I would recommend to everyone to do that; to leave home at an early age to develop independence without parents.”
Berneis says that she now intends to apply for a period of one year leave of absence from her full-time job with the Stuttgart police to carry out her Miss Germany responsibilities — although she acknowledges that her career in the enforcement of the law is in no way over.

“I have a police officer for 10 years and I have no regrets that I chose this path,” Berneis said, according to The Local Germany.
According to the outlet, Berneis began her career in the police force as a crowd control officer for football games, and recently switched to working in the cybercrime department.
The defeat of 10,000 participants from 104 regional competitions to win the ultimate crown, the wife of the fellow officers have since told the local media that they are proud of her impressive performance and look forward to having her again their ranks next year, Local Germany reports.

In particular, this was the first year that Miss Germany competition is not taking a swimsuit category.
As part of her prize package, Berneis won a year of “travel, clothes and a car,” Local Germany reports.
