Police Manila kills again dozens of people
The police in the Philippine capital Manila has dozens of people killed in a major action against criminals. According to a spokesperson are definitely 26 people died during that single large operation.
That was directed not only against drugs but also against other forms of crime.
“If they are using violence to resist, the police had to self-defend,” said colonel Erwin Margarejo. The action Wednesday night shows started, follows an earlier politieactie Monday to the 32 people killed in the province of Bulacan which is adjacent to the Manila.
President Rodrigo Duterte began on the day of his inauguration June last year with a war against drugs. Thousands of people have since been killed without any form of process.
