Police: Man shot while driving in the funeral procession

BALTIMORE – Police say a man driving in a funeral procession was shot in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Sun reports that the police of Baltimore Detective Jeremy Silbert said Monday that officers on patrol found the 39-year-old Dannta Holmes suffering from gunshot wounds on Saturday. Silbert says a preliminary investigation indicates that the suspects had approached the vehicle to take part in the procession and opened fire on the flight.

Holmes was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Silbert says that he did not know for whom the procession was held.
