FRIDLEY, Minn. – Police in Minnesota say a motorist shot and wounded a man pulled a knife on another driver after a multi-car accident.
The events unfolded Wednesday afternoon along Highway 65 in the suburb of Minneapolis in Fridley. The police says the man with the knife was involved in the crash and tried to attack another driver. Another motorist who was not involved in the accident stopped to intervene and shot the man several times before the police arrived.
The Star Tribune reports that the shooter remained at the scene and spoke with the researchers. Police say the man who was shot suffered life-threatening injuries. His current condition is not known.
