LITTLE ROCK, arkansas. – Police in Little Rock have arrested a 12-year-old boy accused of firing a gun on the employees during an attempted robbery at a fast-food restaurant.
Police say nobody was injured when the boy opened fire Monday night at a Burger King in the southwest of Little Rock. According to a police report, employees told officials that she thought the boy was joking when he demanded money, but then he pulled a gun and opened fire.
The police said the boy ran away, but came back to the restaurant later in the evening to turn himself in.
The boy is charged as a young qualified theft.
