Police believe disgruntled worker drones at Gatwick controlled

A disgruntled employee controlled the drones that for days all the air traffic around London Gatwick airport, stillegde. That writes the British newspaper The Times on the basis of the police investigation.

A defendant has the police not yet. It is probably a current or former employee of the airport.

In total, 130 witnesses heard and more than 1,100 people questioned by the police.

Just before christmas last year was the air traffic for three days to a halt. About a thousand flights were cancelled which 140.000 passengers were harmed.

The British justice proposed a large-scale study, which is also Scotland Yard and other security agencies are involved.

There was, however, heavy criticism on the way the police and the communication. That ranged from a detective who suggested that the observations are false alarms were to the arrest of a couple from Crawley.

The man, heavily afflicted by the affair, came into the picture because he is a lover of drones, but he turned out to be nothing to do with the Gatwick-drones.
