The department also tweeted a photo of the lizard, in a plea for help from the public.

“If that is the case, have you ever just stayed in your long walk, and gotten to your destination, and the screaming… oh, wait… the lizard!! Where did I have them last?” the department added. “Well, if you like, you may be in luck, because we’ve got this remarkable, eerie, even shocking, to the majestic creatures.”

The department said it has received an “overwhelming response”, but that the owner cannot be located with the entrance on the Sunday. We asked them to call in order to explain why the lizard is on the door.”

“Just to give you more to talk about, but we’ve been working on, and we now have a dragon. However, it can save you 15 percent or more on car insurance. #dadjokes,” read a tweet from the department.
