As a blogger, who was recently re-made a number of Meghan Markle’s most memorable looks, goes back at the body shamers who had negative things to say about her size.
Katie Sturino, 36, and regularly shares its re-creations of celebrities, women’s fashion, for its ‘Super-Size the Look” of the series.
Most recently, she posts an image of her dressed up as a Markle, in different outfits, from her South Africa tour outfits for her us Open dress, quickly went viral.

It is a body-positive advocate, however, was met by the hard critics, who are ashamed of the plus-size, goal-based influencer detail, the body is of a size relative to Markle’s.
“She looks like she’s ate, Meghan Markle,…and stole her dress,” one critic has said of her message.
“She kind of looks like a Prius,” another person said.
Another critic wrote, “it doesn’t matter what the clothes, NOT the clothes, it looks very good in people who are overweight, obesity do not look good, and it’s extremely unhealthy. Stop promoting an unhealthy body!”
In an Instagram posted on Thursday, Sturino hit the negative commenters in a long response time.

“Every time I think that we have a lot of progress has been made regarding our bodies and the way we talk about women, something pops up to remind me our work is not done!” she wrote. “There’s a war on women’s bodies in the media and elsewhere.”
Sturino said that, while the harsh notes don’t hurt her feelings, and she felt that they were “scary.”

“It’s scary that a woman who was nearly of the average size in this country, it would be considered to be such a shock!” she added.
Instead of focusing on the negative things that people say on the web, blogger and encouraged her followers to “keep up with the spread of positivity.”

“Don’t have to deal with the crazies in the comments section. PLEASE LOOK at YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR, AND TELL HER THAT YOU love HER,” Sturino said.
“No one deserves to be spoken to like this, either on-or off-line. We have work to do!!!!!”
