Plaattaart with the salmon, So you can make it with just five ingredients

Cooking doesn’t have to be that complicated. With five ingredients and place in an instant, something on the table. In NU.nl you can read it from now on every week a how to do it. Episode 2: plaattaart with citroenricotta, and smoked salmon.
What you’ll need for up to four people

  • 1 roll of fresh puff pastry
  • 200 g of smoked salmon
  • 250 grams of ricotta cheese
  • zest of 1 unsprayed lemon
  • handful of rocket lettuce

How do you get it going

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Roll out the dough on to the baking sheet out of the corresponding piece of paper. Fold in all the sides of one edge of the pastry and press it with the help of a fork. Prick with a fork holes in the middle of the dough, so the oven is not going to opbollen.
  • Slide the baking sheet into the center of the oven and bake the pastry in about twenty minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. The bottom has to be solid. Then, let it cool.
  • Stir in half of the lemon zest through the ricotta cheese. Season to taste with a little salt and a little pepper. Grease the cooled pastry case with the citroenricotta, but leave the edges free.
  • Drape slices of smoked salmon on the plaattaart. Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and the hidden lemon.
