The outlet said the Pink one is a reference to the controversy surrounding the NFL’s handling of Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, is known for taking a knee during the playing of “the Star-Spangled Banner” to protest racial injustice in the U.S.

Because of the controversy, artists such as Rihanna and Cardi have rejected the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl.

“I would probably have a hang of it and it will get done,” Pink said.

The star also had her own ideas about who should be offered the show at this year’s big game.

“They should give it to Janet Jackson’s,” she suggested. “It is he who will have to make do with the Super Bowl.”

Jackson, 53, famously played in the Super Bowl halftime show in 2004. At the end of the stage, a wardrobe malfunction that exposed Jackson’s breast to the public at a special guest, Justin Timberlake apparently tore off part of Jackson’s top.

“It has been rumbling around in J. Lo, or Rihanna she deserves it,” Pink said. “They have to do is give up, because of the controversy, the African-American Latina women have for a long time.”

The NFL has recently been announced that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira would be performing at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium Feb. 2.

Pink has been on tour for almost two years after the release of her 2017 album, “Good Trauma”, and released a new album, “Pain is 2B, a Human” earlier in the year.
