Pierre feels himself ‘forgotten life’ by Hilversum
Singer and liedschrijver Pierre wonders if he’s a tribute. Kartner, better known as Father Abraham, to feel at forgotten life by Hilversum, the netherlands.
“André van Duin be honored as he for fifty years in the business, and that was rightly a big televisiegebeurtenis, but I still think:” Why him and not me?'”, says Kartner in conversation with The Telegraph.
In 2009, there seemed to be, however, just as there is a feast for Kartner, in connection with its golden showbiz. “The Metropole Orchestra was in a manner of speaking, all ready, and Rob de Nijs, and Peter would occur, I remember.”
The end result was a feast because of insufficient financial resources. “I take it that no one blame, but it was of course a disappointment,” said Kartner.
“But well, it is what it is”, meaning the 82-year-old singer. “I just hope Hilversum, the netherlands later this year, however, attention wants to donate to my new album. That is filled with new material, the title will be: Never too old to be young.”
