Pictures, The Walking Dead, after the death of stuntman resume
The filming of the eighth season of The Walking Dead resumed. Last week was a 33-year-old stuntman killed in an accident on the set, and then the production was shut down.
Broadcaster AMC picked up the thread Monday, let the television station know to Variety.
Stuntman John Bernecker came during the filming of the popular zombieserie fall. He fell more than 7.5 meters down and ended up on a concrete floor. He died in hospital in Atlanta, in the presence of friends, family members and his girlfriend. Bernecker was the ventilator removed when the swelling in his brain further increased.
AMC and the cast and crew of The Walking Dead left said it was shocked by the incident. “He will always remain a member of the TWD family,” was a message on the official twitter account of the series. “We empathize with his family and friends.”
We are deeply saddened by the loss of John Bernecker. Our hearts are with his family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.
