The recording of the new drama series Commands are Monday launched in the vicinity of Johannesburg in South Africa. The series is a collaboration between AVROTROS NL Film and should be in 2020 on television screens.
The lead roles in the series are reserved for Werner Flask (photo), Egbert-Jan Weeber, Teun Kuilboer, Kay Greidanus, Chiem Vreeken and Bilal Wahib. The story revolves around ex-commando John: the King (played by Werner Flask) that has been traumatized affected by a failed mission in Nigeria.
The series follows the events after the mission as John the King (Flask) embroiled in a fight involving his friends, family, and themselves about to lose. The shooting started in South Africa, but also in Belgium and the Netherlands to be filmed.
Commands will be out of ten parts and will be directed by Iván López Núñez and Hanro Smitsman. AVROTROS expected in the spring of 2020 to start the broadcasting of the series on NPO3.
