Photo shows Tennessee firefighters are catching their first nap in 36 hours

 

A firefighter is a picture of his peers and themselves to a few minutes of rest after the fight against the deadly wildfires in Tennessee is going viral.

Firefighter Adam Scott Momberger posted the picture on Facebook Tuesday.

The post reads, “As close as we are to see sleep in 36 hours”.

According to ABC News, the photo was taken during the firefighters’ first break in 30 hours. A fireman reportedly told them, “The next time you hear someone complain about their bed a bit too hard, show them this…”

The fires, which have burned in east Tennessee since Monday has killed at least seven people and damaged or destroyed more than 700 buildings.
