The British designer Phoebe Philo leaves her post as creative director at French fashion house Céline. That is reported by Business of Fashion.
The autumn collection of 2018 will be the last that Phoebe Philo for Céline. This is evident from an official announcement.
“It was an exceptional experience for me these past ten years for Céline to work’, highlights Philo. “I am grateful to have been able to collaborate with this incredibly talented and dedicated team and I want to thank everybody who somewhere on the road part of the collaborations and conversations. This was incredible.’
In 2013, Philo still be knighted because of her achievements in the fashion industry. They succeeded in the past ten years in the house of Céline is again relevant to make a younger audience to speak. With its understated and luxury designs, she knew season after season, hearts to conquer.
It is not yet known what the next career move of Philo is, though it sounds already that they will be in the near future, not immediately before a new label will begin work. Also, Philo’s successor is still just guess work. That will be in the coming months to be announced.
