Philippine terrorist group Abu Sayyaf late Norwegian hostage free
The Filipino terrorist group Abu Sayyaf has Friday morning was a Norwegian hostage freed.
That reports news agency AP on Saturday. The terrorist group asked previously a large deposit for the Norwegian man, two Canadians and a Filipino woman. The Canadians are in June and april of this year beheaded, the woman is previously released.
The Norwegian man is handed over to Filipino authorities, after a year of captivity. According to local media, the deposit of 30 million pesos (half a million euro) is paid. The Canadian government refused the kidnappers to negotiate.
The Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte said on Saturday that Abu Sayyaf, a caliphate is pursuing. Duterte, who earlier threatened the group of “living to eat”, says that the group is not only more money probably. “They want to fight for a caliphate in Southeast Asia, a kingdom for muslims.”
