Philip Bilden withdraws as candidate to head marine USA
Philip Bilden has Sunday (local time) withdrawn as a candidate for the leadership to go to the U.s. navy.
According to the U.s. department of Defense has Bilden the decision itself is taken from personal considerations. Bilden would care about his personal business ties and safety. He is considered to be a successful businessman and is best known as an investor within and outside the United States.
Bilden is not the first person who withdraws as a candidate for a high position in the American administrations after the appointment of Donald Trump as president.
Earlier thanked stock trader Vincent Viola for the highest position within the army. He also had concerns about conflicts of interest arising from his functions in the business.
For both positions, the government Trump currently no candidates.
The Us department of Defense says, however, fast with a new candidate will come to the highest position in the U.s. navy.
