Persons killed and injured by earthquake Philippines
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 in the south of the Philippines at least six people killed. There were more than a hundred wounded.
That have the authorities Saturday announced after the first rescue.
The province of Surigao del Norte, more than seven hundred kilometers south of capital Manila, was hit the hardest. Several buildings, including some of the bridges are collapsed or damaged.
The power is out and the provincial airport is closed. The governor said on the radio that many residents a shock to have incurred.
The archipelago lies on the ‘Ring of Fire’ around the pacific Ocean. The last major aardebeving dating back to October 2013 with a magnitude of 7.1. This had more than 220 deaths.
