Pepsi brings the amount of sugar in drink down
PepsiCo is the number of calories from added sugars in their drinks down. In 2025, the company wants two-thirds of the drinks of 0.35 litres 100 or fewer calories from added sugars.
That made the company Monday announced in a sustainability agenda.
Also the amount of fat in the food products that PepsiCo manufactures should be in 2025 decreased substantially. At least three quarters of the products from the voedselportfolio of the brand will not be more than 1.1 grams of saturated fat per 100 calories. The amount of sodium should be in this year in three quarters of the food products is 1.3 milligrams per calorie.
PepsiCo is bringing about changes in their food and drinks on the occasion of the most recent dietary guidelines of the world health organisation and the changing needs of the consumer.
