A Pennsylvania woman was arrested last week for driving under the influence after police say she showed up at the station drunk,” when it comes to retrieve her boyfriend, who was arrested on a DUI charge.

Kristen Lee-Ann Anderson, 30, was on Thursday arrested on one count of driving under the influence after allegedly driving her car into an area in the vicinity of the Chambersburg police department. They walked the rest of the way, police said.

“John Anderson, came to the police station to pick up her friend, who had been arrested for a DUI. Anderson was found to be intoxicated,” police said in a news release Tuesday. “The officers investigated and found that Anderson had driven to the area and parked her car in the Central Lane is for going to the police station.”

She was taken into custody on a DUI charge. It was not immediately clear if they were still in the police department on Tuesday.

Police did not identify the man, Anderson, who is focused on the road.
