The shooting unfolded at about 2 a.m., when a number of club-goers had to either stand on the sidewalk outside the Allentown club, Deja Vu, or a way out.

All of the people hit by gunfire were in the hospital and expected to survive, The Morning Call reported, citing the police investigation.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin told the news outlet that he had never seen so many shooting victims as a result of an accident in his 21 years as an officer in the ministry of justice.

Witnesses said they saw people in panic, fleeing the scene on foot, and at least one car was seen speeding away.
