Pence: Mueller findings ‘should be welcomed by every American who values the truth”

Vice-President Mike Pence said Sunday was “a great day for America”, after Special Counsel Robert Mueller revealed and determines the trump campaign is not colluding with Russia to influence the election of 2016.

“After two years of investigation, and reckless accusations by many Democrats and members of the media, the Special Council has confirmed what President Trump said; there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the election in 2016,” Pence said in a statement.

He said that attorney General William Barr, who published a four-page summary on Sunday of Miller’s investigation, which was sent to the Ministry of justice on Friday “confirmed that there is no obstruction of justice.”

“This is a full discharge to the President of the United States and our campaign should be welcomed by every American who values the truth, and the integrity of our elections.”

Pence said that Americans are “confident” that the Trump administration “continue to focus” on what is in the USA, and added: “We can only hope that the Democrats, with so much time spent on these allegations will be discredited, and that you join us to advance an agenda to make our nation more prosperity and more security for every American.”

Barr-summary said that the Mueller investigation was “not possible to determine that the Trump campaign, or anyone connected with him, conspired or coordinated” with the Russians involved in hacking efforts to try to swing the 2016 election “despite a number of offers from Russian-affiliated persons to support the Trump campaign.”
