Pence moves to the middle East trip, citing the tax vote

Vice-President Mike Pence, the moves of his trip to Egypt and Israel until mid-January, citing an upcoming vote in the Senate on the Reform of the country’s tax system.

Senior White house officials say Pence’s travel plans in the Middle East the week of Jan. 14 so he can vote in the Senate for Tuesday’s expected tax. Prior to that, he had to leave planned for the middle East on Tuesday evening.

The officials say the timing uncertainty of the Senate vote, the impact could have, the Vice President, the schedule in Egypt and Israel. And you say Pence, it was important to see in the Senate, the tax cut across the finish line.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal plans.
